Population structure indicators at national level

In 2011, Spain's population structure indicators at national level increased by 2.3% compared to 2010, reaching 27.1.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 29.0.

Spain ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.4% (from 26.2 in 2006).
