Population structure indicators at national level

In 2025, Spain's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.5% compared to 2024, reaching 34.0.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 37.7.

Spain ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.6% (from 31.9 in 2020).
