Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2021, Spain's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 2.2% compared to 2020, reaching 37.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 41.0%.

Spain ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.8% (from 33.9% in 2016).
