In 2021, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty threshold decreased by 2.2% compared to 2020, reaching 19,556.

Spain ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.2% (from 18,416 in 2016).
