In 2022, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty threshold increased by 5.9% compared to 2021, reaching 20,706.

Spain ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.1% (from 18,632 in 2017).
