At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 2.8% compared to 2009, reaching 14.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.5%.

Sweden ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 55.8% (from 9.5% in 2005).
