In 2012, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.3% compared to 2011, reaching 15.2%.
The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.9%.
Sweden ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 44.8% (from 10.5% in 2007).
