At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2016, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.0% compared to 2015, reaching 17.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 18.2%.

Sweden ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.2% (from 16.6% in 2011).
