Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 1970, Sweden's population change increased by 1.5% compared to 1969, reaching 13.7.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.4.

Sweden ranks 24th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 13.8% (from 15.9 in 1965).
