Early leavers from education and training by labour status

In 2021, Sweden's early leavers from education and training by labour status increased by 9.1% compared to 2020, reaching 8.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.7%.

Sweden ranks 12th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.5% (from 7.4% in 2016).
