Distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group

In 2023, Sweden's distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group increased by 1.1% compared to 2022, reaching 64.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 69.1%.

Sweden ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.2% (from 64.1% in 2018).
