Population on 1 January by age group and sex

In 1967, Sweden's population on 1 january by age group and sex increased by 4.5% compared to 1966, reaching 171,217.

Sweden ranks 6th out of 18 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 18.1% (from 144,988 in 1962).
