Gender employment gap by degree of urbanisation

In 2017, Sweden's gender employment gap by degree of urbanisation increased by 5.3% compared to 2016, reaching 12.0.

Sweden accounts for 33.9% of the EU-27 total of 35.4.

Sweden ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 21.6% (from 15.3 in 2012).
