Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2023, Sweden's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.4% compared to 2022, reaching 90.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 87.6%.

Sweden ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.8% (from 89.8% in 2018).
