Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2023, Romania's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.2% compared to 2022, reaching 91.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 87.6%.

Romania ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.7% (from 89.7% in 2018).
