Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2010, Sweden's unemployment by sex and age increased by 2.4% compared to 2009, reaching 8.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.1%.

Sweden ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.1% (from 7.9% in 2005).
