Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2012, Sweden's unemployment by sex and age increased by 2.5% compared to 2011, reaching 8.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 11.1%.

Sweden ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 28.6% (from 6.3% in 2007).
