Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2010, Sweden's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 1.2% compared to 2009, reaching 24.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 22.4%.

Sweden ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.6% (from 22.2% in 2005).
