In 2023, the EU-27 figure for suicide death rate by age group was 12.5 .

That is a 6.1% fell versus 2022 (13.3).

Over the five years before that, the EU-27 aggregate moved 1.4% lower.

Across member states, Finland reported the highest value (43.3, 2023) and Bulgaria the lowest (3.90, 2023) — a ratio of 11.1× between the two ends of the range.
