At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2004, Austria's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.5% compared to 2003, reaching 13.0%.

Austria ranks 9th out of 13 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.3% (from 12.0% in 1999).
