At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2004, Belgium's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 7.1% compared to 2003, reaching 14.3%.

Belgium ranks 7th out of 13 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.0% (from 13.0% in 1999).
