At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2004, Austria's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 2.2% compared to 2003, reaching 14.2%.

Austria ranks 8th out of 13 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.4% (from 14.0% in 1999).
