Early leavers from education and training by labour status

In 2024, Austria's early leavers from education and training by labour status decreased by 5.8% compared to 2023, reaching 8.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.4%.

Austria ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.8% (from 7.8% in 2019).
