Early leavers from education and training by labour status

In 2025, Austria's early leavers from education and training by labour status increased by 23.5% compared to 2024, reaching 10.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 9.1%.

Austria ranks 5th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 23.5% (from 8.1% in 2020).
