Early leavers from education and training by labour status

In 2025, Germany's early leavers from education and training by labour status increased by 1.6% compared to 2024, reaching 13.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 9.1%.

Germany ranks 2nd out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 29.7% (from 10.1% in 2020).
