Employment rates by citizenship

In 2007, Austria's employment rates by citizenship increased by 1.9% compared to 2006, reaching 76.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 71.6%.

Austria ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.3% (from 75.3% in 2002).
