Employment rates by citizenship

In 2007, Hungary's employment rates by citizenship decreased by 0.3% compared to 2006, reaching 63.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 71.6%.

Hungary ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.3% (from 62.9% in 2002).
