Population structure indicators at national level

In 2014, Austria's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.4% compared to 2013, reaching 29.6.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 30.8.

Austria ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.6% (from 28.3 in 2009).
