Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2014, Austria's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 45.1% compared to 2013, reaching 29.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 27.8%.

Austria ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 58.2% (from 18.9% in 2009).
