At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2009, Belgium's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.7% compared to 2008, reaching 14.6%.

Belgium ranks 16th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.1% (from 14.3% in 2004).
