At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2009, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.2% compared to 2008, reaching 12.9%.

France ranks 21st out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.4% (from 13.5% in 2004).
