At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2010, Belgium's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.0% compared to 2009, reaching 14.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.5%.

Belgium ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.4% (from 14.8% in 2005).
