At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2010, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.1% compared to 2009, reaching 13.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.5%.

France ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.3% (from 13.0% in 2005).
