At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2005, Belgium's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 2.4% compared to 2004, reaching 21.4%.

Belgium ranks 8th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 10.8% (from 24.0% in 2000).
