At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2005, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 7.2% compared to 2004, reaching 16.4%.

France ranks 15th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 13.7% (from 19.0% in 2000).
