At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2006, Belgium's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 8.4% compared to 2005, reaching 23.2%.

Belgium ranks 9th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 10.8% (from 26.0% in 2001).
