At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2009, Belgium's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.3% compared to 2008, reaching 15.7%.

Belgium ranks 14th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.0% (from 15.1% in 2004).
