At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2009, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.8% compared to 2008, reaching 13.8%.

France ranks 20th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.8% (from 14.2% in 2004).
