Early leavers from education and training by labour status

In 2024, Belgium's early leavers from education and training by labour status increased by 12.9% compared to 2023, reaching 7.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.4%.

Belgium ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 16.7% (from 8.4% in 2019).
