Early leavers from education and training by labour status

In 2024, France's early leavers from education and training by labour status increased by 1.3% compared to 2023, reaching 7.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.4%.

France ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.1% (from 8.2% in 2019).
