Fertility indicators

In 1975, Belgium's fertility indicators decreased by 4.9% compared to 1974, reaching 1.74.

Belgium ranks 16th out of 19 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 22.7% (from 2.25 in 1970).
