Fertility indicators

In 1980, Belgium's fertility indicators decreased by 0.6% compared to 1979, reaching 1.68.

Belgium ranks 14th out of 20 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.4% (from 1.74 in 1975).
