Population structure indicators at national level

In 2010, Belgium's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.2% compared to 2009, reaching 40.9.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 41.3.

Belgium ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.0% (from 40.1 in 2005).
