Population structure indicators at national level

In 2018, Belgium's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.2% compared to 2017, reaching 41.6.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 43.5.

Belgium ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.2% (from 41.1 in 2013).
