Population structure indicators at national level

In 2017, Belgium's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.2% compared to 2016, reaching 41.5.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 43.2.

Belgium ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.2% (from 41.0 in 2012).
