Population structure indicators at national level

In 2016, Belgium's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.0% compared to 2015, reaching 30.8.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 32.2.

Belgium ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.1% (from 28.5 in 2011).
