Population structure indicators at national level

In 2016, Germany's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.3% compared to 2015, reaching 34.7.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 32.2.

Germany ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.1% (from 34.0 in 2011).
