Population structure indicators at national level

In 2018, Belgium's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.6% compared to 2017, reaching 31.8.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 33.5.

Belgium ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.8% (from 29.5 in 2013).
