Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2021, Belgium's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 5.9% compared to 2020, reaching 44.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 33.6%.

Belgium ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 19.7% (from 37.5% in 2016).
