In 2024, Belgium's income inequality for older people increased by 0.3% compared to 2023, reaching 6.40.

Belgium accounts for 77.9% of the EU-27 total of 8.22.

Belgium ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.3% (from 6.62 in 2019).
